Connelly has been one of my favorite mystery writers for a couple years now – you can’t go wrong with one of his books. Mickey Haller is hired to defend a Beverly Hills man arrested for assault. It could be a big case for both his career and his pocketbook. Lots of twists and turns!

This was my first Coburn read. She is a local author so it was fun to recognize the setting of the story. This was a thought provoking book about life, choices, secrets, love and coming to grips with growing up, as an adult!!
